A GENEROUS TRIBUTE AL AND TED
Keystone Electronics uses RexCorp Islanders Inspire to thank Isles coaches past and present

Troy David, of Muttontown, NY has been an Islanders fan since the very beginning. So it seems fitting that he jumped at the opportunity to be a part of RexCorp Islanders Inspire soon after the launch of the new program that offers area businesses and individuals a unique opportunity to send local children to Islanders games.
"I'm a big hockey fan, obviously, and I was following the free agent signings when they signed Bill Guerin and Mike Comrie," reflected the VP of Keystone Electronics.
He listened in on the Islanders' press conference where four new players were introduced and was moved by the Isles' new captain. "Bill talked about the Islanders Inspire program and I was inspired myself to get involved with the program with our company to help out these kids," said David.
Mr. David knew of the various community programs the Islanders had promoted in the past, but none spoke to him as much as RexCorp Islanders Inspire.
"I thought that Bill signing with the team was a great thing in and of itself, and I was just so happy to really have him," said David. "I though it was great how he immediately wanted to help out the community. It was very inspiring to me and I felt that I could help out as well."
RexCorp Islanders Inspire not only gives local youth organizations game tickets, it even takes care of transportation for these kids, which is often a hurdle in bringing larger children's groups to events on Long Island.
Since Troy has been an Islanders fan since 1972, he was incredibly excited when he heard that Al Arbour was returning to coach his 1,500th game for the team. Mr. David chose tonight's game as the date for his RexCorp Islanders Inspire game as a tribute to both the revered coach and to the Isles' current coach, Ted Nolan.
"I was really impressed that Ted would do something like this, so I wanted to tip my cap to the Islanders tradition. I can see Ted being on the island for a very long time, so it's a tip to Al Arbour and what he did for the organization, and also a thank you for Ted Nolan, for making this happen."
"These children would have never been able to come down without this donation"
